Most AirTag holders dangle from the collar like a tag — which is exactly how they get batted off, snagged off, or swum off. Here the case is part of the collar itself: low-profile, sealed against water, and out of reach of even determined paws.
Honest limits
Find My updates location when your pet passes near Apple devices — near-instant in neighborhoods and cities, slower in remote areas. For rural off-leash work, a dedicated GPS tracker (with its subscription) is the right tool; for everyone else, this is the sane default. Apple AirTag sold separately.

Can my dog swim with it?
